I just graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in physiology, and my next step is to apply for medical school! Children and Medicine are my passion and I am currently a pediatric volunteer at Banner Thunderbird Hospital where I am constantly doing patient rounds and caring for children with special needs. Be it a temporary special need that has them in the hospital, or a long term special need I care for infants all the way up to 17 years old. I also have been in personal child care for around 8 years where I have a few years of experience with special needs kiddos from children with spina bifida, attention deficit disorder, and autism. I pride myself on not only just caring for a family, but also building a relationship with them. I am extremely patient and my heart is always focused on the child's best interest. Also with my background in medicine, I always do research on the specific disorder and orient my care accordingly!
