About Bailey

I have a B. S. in Zoo and Wildlife Biology and over six years of professional zoo experience working with dogs, cats, large hoofstock, exotic small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians in animal husbandry and training. I am confident working with dogs and cats of all temperaments, ages, and with various medical conditions. I can exercise pets, provide enrichment activities, and administer medications. My large hoof stock experience includes eight years working with equines, llamas, and alpacas. I have experience with barn upkeep, stall mucking, horse tacking, pasture turnout, hoof picking, and grooming. My exotic animal experience includes parrots, large lizards, snakes, tortoises, kinkajous, amphibians, and invertebrates. I am familiar with regulating enclosure temperatures, monitoring humidity, preparing enrichment activities, and preparing frozen/thawed mice/rats/quail and live insects for feeding.
