I am a student at UT Austin finishing my degree in Theatre & Dance with an emphasis on Youth and Communities. My goal after I graduate is to receive my Montessori certification and hopefully, open my own preschool. I am looking for a family I can grow with long-term and build a lasting relationship with while I am finishing my final years of school. I have the most experience with children 2-6 however I am comfortable with older or younger ones. I have developed lots of curricula and activities since I was a preschool teacher that are screen-free. I value taking initiative, patience, intentionality, and pedagogical tact. I have obtained training in CPR, anti-bias, SIDS prevention, and infant brain development. I can also help with potty training, homework, overnight stays, etc. Just ask! :)

Ayesha blew my expectations out of the water. My daughter and son (7 and 3) adore her. My son is a COVID baby with limited exposure to non-family members, but after about 40 minutes of feeling timid he was happily talking to her. By the time I left he was reading a book with his arms wrapped around her elbow. Each time she's watched the kids they have eaten well, brushed teeth, and cleaned up without complaint (?!) She also magically keeps to the bedtime schedule much better than I can. My daughter says, "She makes everything fun! I don't even mind cleaning up!" Ayesha also leaves a lovely hand-written note detailing the day's activities. I feel so relieved knowing I'm leaving them in the care of someone who is open-minded, supportive, and who loves creativity and fun as much as they do. We couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend her without hesitation.
