I have always loved working with kids, I have many years of experience and also experience with children's of all ages! I'd describe my personality as calm, friendly and caring I started working with kids when I was about 12, being the oldest of 3 sister my parents trusted me from a young age to watch my younger siblings. From then on I started to watch and care for children of other families in my community. In my spare time, I like to paint and draw. I'm currently a student in college at Penn State University, studying to get a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. I love to do arts and crafts with kids and could even do lessons for any young artists! One thing you should know about me is I'm extremely flexible, I'm always here for when you need a last minute babysitter for a night out or a spontaneous day trip to fire island. You can count on me to be there when you need a reliable caring babysitter on short notice

Avery was a very trustworthy and reliable babysitter for our toddler and I would definitely hire again. Avery had clear experience working with toddlers. She was imaginative, she let my 2 yr old explore her own imagination while playing and directed her and talked to her about other alternatives which I liked. She was great at redirecting appropriately and also great at getting my toddler to bed! Avery is a fine arts major so she was able to bring arts, like drawing and finger painting with my daughter. She's great at directions - she clearly followed my asks for nap time and sunscreen for outdoor time. Avery was on time and communicated clearly about her schedule. In addition, Avery is an all around kind and patient person. She's interesting to talk to. I would definitely hire Avery again.
