About Avena

Hello! I am Avena, I just graduated High School and am looking for babysitting/caregiving opportunities for both pets and/or children! I have three younger sisters who I have helped look after for the past 10 years. I volunteered for 7 years in a low functioning special needs classroom. I also took two years of Childhood Development in High School, where I learned about the stages of growth, development and behaviors. I am very patient, kind, open-minded, outgoing, creative, and careful. I am trained in CPR and First-Aid. I am looking forward to helping you as best as I can! I'd describe my personality as patient, outgoing and empathetic. I like working with kids because it has always been my calling, I love seeing them grow and learning from each individual. It is not a job for everyone but I love caregiving. I'm looking for a job that is very transparent about expectations and rules for the individual(s) that I may be caregiving for.
