Hi! My name is Ava! I am currently a University of Iowa student, majoring in Elementary Education. I will be receiving endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language. I will be a senior next fall and am student teaching Spring 2025. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and was a lifeguard and pool manager at my hometown pool for 4 summers. I am a member of Alpha Phi at the University, and am our Mental Health chair for my chapter, so I am a certified mental health advocate. As for my experience, I nannied full-time last summer in my hometown for a family with 2 twins, one with developmental delays and special needs. I have had experience babysitting for 8 years now, with all ages, from infants through teens. I love being outside in the summer and having fun with the kids I watch. I have a car and am out of school early May!
