Hello! I'm Ava, and I'm excited to offer my expertise in childcare to your family. With a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University, I have a solid understanding of child development. During my time working at the SDSU Children's Center, I honed my skills in creating engaging activities and maintaining a nurturing environment for children. Before university, I was a YMCA lifeguard and swim instructor for two years, guiding toddlers to school-aged children in a positive, supportive environment and gaining first aid and CPR skills. I have four years of experience as a family caretaker, where I've cared for children ranging from newborns to pre-teens. Building meaningful relationships with both children and parents. Additionally, my 100+ hours of volunteer work at elementary schools have further enriched my understanding of child development.
