About Ava

We interviewed and offered a 4-day/week position to Ava. She seemed so great and we were excited to have her with our family. She accepted the job. But then she texted on Christmas Eve to tell us she had changed her mind about her career plans. She said she'd help until we found someone, but not as long as we'd agreed. That was disappointing... but at least we would have some time to find someone else. Then an hour later, she texted again to say she wouldn't help in the short term either. I was shocked. We had 8 days until she was supposed to start full time and we were left completely scrambling - needing to take time off work to provide care until we could find someone under short notice. She seemed like a nice person, but I was incredibly disappointed to be left hanging - with no warning - for a consistent long-term role. Unfortunately, I can't recommend trusting her with something as important as your family.
