I have been passionate about children with special needs since the first time I had interactions with them. I am now studying Special Education and am getting more in-depth on my studies. My experience is in home, school, and professional settings. I have babysat kids that have down syndrome, mild autism, and are hearing impaired. In the classroom, I have worked with children who have learning disabilities and cognitive delays. I also have experience working with children with trauma, emotional disturbances, and behavior disorders in a professional setting. In addition, I have previously worked for a qualified mental health facility and am trained to work with mental illnesses, including in crisis mode. I am a Mental Health First Aider and I am MANDT certified. I am grateful for all of these experiences and opportunities, and I would love the chance to get to know you and your kiddos!
