About Ashtyn

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient and fun! I like working with kids because when I was in high school I volunteered as a child's group leader, was a nanny for two kids during the summers and loved it! I started working with kids when I realized I love kids but don't have the option of having my own any time soon. I worked briefly at a children's trauma center and realized how many kids benefit from adults who are interested in actively hanging out with them and not sitting them in front of a tv. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog, hang with my cats, read, go to the parks, and explore. I love things that are engaging. One thing you should know about me is I'm extremely patient and kind, and am a massive pet lover. My skills include cooking, I almost went to culinary school so I love baking and cooking and think it's a great activity for kids. I like little art projects like clay, planting and coloring. I am active and think going to playgrounds is so much fun.
