Hi! I'm the oldest of 7 children and growing up my mom had a daycare in our home. I started off babysitting when I was around 10 years old, and then nannied when I moved to Corvallis to finish my degree. I have a bachelor's degree, am CPR certified, and have been a reliable nanny to half a dozen families. I'm currently a working professional and expecting my first baby April 28th, 2024. I'm looking for a "Mama & Lo" nanny position starting as early as mid-June or as late as fall 2024. I have a ton of experience nannying, so I know how to adapt to you and your family's specific needs/parenting styles. When I nanny, I try my best to be present with the kids and not distracted by media--I've noticed a decrease in problematic behaviors when I do this, and a better bond develops between me and the children. I've been told by multiple people that I have a "calming" presence.

My mom hired Ashlie and her mom Lori to clean a rental home she was moving out of and to help with the packing. Naturally, I was a bit apprehensive about strangers coming into her home. However, These two were amazing and trustworthy! I'm encouraging my mom to hire Ashlie for regular cleaning of her new home. Both she and her mom were professional, thorough, and a sheer delight. To top it off, they were both a quiet, comforting presence at a difficult time in trying to help out an elderly parent. I'm being unselfish in writing this review because I would actually like to keep her a secret so she will always be available for our own needs. (wink, wink)
