About Ashleigh

Perfect for all dogs especially ones who have specialized needs. Older dogs, shy, not so social, separation anxiety, fears, trust issues, mobility impaired, etc. If large groups aren't your dogs thing or they just prefer lots of attention this could be a great option for them! I was born and raised in Maine and have been around dogs my entire life. I have a soft spot in my heart for ALL dogs no matter what age, size, breed or temperament. I have two amazing shelter dogs one is 16 years old one is 2 years old. The last 5 years I have worked with a family who has two dogs which include daily walks (on-leash and off-leash), assisted them with their training beginning at 8 weeks old, taking them on adventures, socializing them and occasional overnight care. If your dog(s) need more exercise, companionship, exposure, basic training or other needs please contact me, I would be happy to chat and discuss options that best fit your dogs needs and your busy schedule.

Ashleigh has worked with us for 7 years and is the ONLY reason we have remained sane with the chaos of life - kids, dogs, work, sports, afters chool activities! She is organized, punctual, proactive, and stays on top of everything. But even more importantly she is warm, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, fun, silly, and engaging. She makes a difference in our lives every day - she builds our kids up and gives them confidence; she comes up with activities and projects that are fun for the kids and engage and teach the kids. She demonstrates interest and is up for ANYTHING the kids are into- music, books, sledding, art, baseball, soccer. She is active and energetic. She encourages the kids to participate in activities to help the community and instills a giving spirit that they carry on. I had trouble narrowing down to just a few favorites about Ashleigh. She deserves to work with an amazing family who appreciates all she does - she is a truly rare and spectacular person.
