Thanks to them I've acquired so many qualities and experience that not even the best school in the entire world could teach. My love and passion for this job developed thanks to the extra chromosome of my little brother; yes! I have the great blessing to have in my life a brother with down syndrome; and I was very fortunate to help my mom with his education and care since he was a baby. This is why I know from first hand how much we care for the well being and happiness of our special people. I always try my best on taking an approach that focuses on dedicating myself to insuring not only the health of my kids, but also their happiness. I've worked with kids of different ages; so I am proudly to say that I am very familiar with milestones and how to work as a team to make sure they meet them

Arisbeth is all that and more. She did after school and weekend care-giving for my very energetic 15yo nonverbal autistic son. Other professionals who encountered her (his speech therapist, BCBA) just had stars in their eyes about her (as in "where did you find her?!? She's amazing!!!"). And they were right. She ticked all the basic boxes (reliability, punctuality, trustworthiness), and went far beyond, teaching M. new skills, being incredibly patient and consistent with him, taking him on endless outings in the community, giving us as parents suggestions (when we asked) about how to deal with issues. She has a deep understanding for how to work with special needs kiddos that comes from her own empathy and smarts as well as a brother w/ trisomy-21. She is one of those folks who you know will not stay forever, because they are going on to great things, but we were so sad when she moved on to the next stage after about a year. She will always have a home in our family. Love you Arisbeth!
