Hello everyone! My name is Ariel and I am a 5th grade teacher in Chicago Public Schools. I am finishing up my first year of teaching and looking for tutoring positions this summer. I am originally from Saugatuck, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have experience tutoring/mentoring students from 2nd-8th grade for about 5 years now. I have worked in arts camps, educational summer camps, and one-on-one tutoring.
