About Aquila

My own mother has been a nanny since she was in college. I'm an only child and was always at work with her. I've learned how to care for others' children and how to tidy up around the house. My mother and I took care of the house and 3 kids of varying ages, 2 girls, and 1 boy. I learned to make a very neat bed, dust, mop, and wash dishes. I am also proficient in washing and putting away laundry and more. Having my own daughter has given me great experience with infants. I am aware of safe sleep regulations and know never to place a child on their tummy to sleep. I also work well with foster children. My day job is working with a federally funded college preparatory program for low income, potential first generation college students, and minorities. I work in middle schools tutoring/mentoring these students. I often request to work with foster care students, as it is an experience I have been through myself.
