Hello! My name is April, and I am a creative and intuitive person who enjoys working with kids. I have 5 years of babysitting experience and 3 years of child care experience. I've worked with numerous children between the ages of 2 and 17, in both an after-school and home setting. My experience includes participating in the 2021 Summer Youth Program and working as a Group Leader for the Police Athletic League from March 2023 t0 August 2023. I provided supervision to children of various age groups when needed for arrival/dismissal, mealtime, and bathroom throughout the day, and worked closely with my colleagues to write and teach STEM focused lessons plans. I am firm but kind, and take my responsibilities seriously. My focus is on providing a safe, creative, routine-focused environment for children to learn and grow. I love art, reading, writing, baking, and traveling, and I look forward to making the most out of your kids time.

I’ve known April in variety of capacities for about eight years. She and her family had been my family’s neighbor for the past several years. In addition, April is the babysitter/caretaker for my 2 year old autistic son. She worked at my home for about a year and has been tremendously responsible. I have the highest confidence in her trustworthiness, judgment and always feel relaxed after leaving my son in her supervision. I have had the satisfaction of seeing her grown from a high school student to a mature young lady pursuing her goals. April is extremely competent, detail- oriented and efficient. As a single mother, it has been wonderful to have a dependable young person to help me care for my son. I highly recommend April for any job working with integrity. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to be flexible yet main discipline which is something not very easy to do. I wish her the best of luck for her future employment.
