About April

I'd describe my personality as honest, passionate and loving. Children invite joy into my life! They inspire me to be silly and enjoy the simple things. I find that I learn so much by looking at the world through their perspectives. They help me stay present and remember what is important, love and laughter! I started working with kids at age 14. Growing up, I would babysit for family members and neighbors. I would also help my grandmother nanny babies in our neighborhood. As I got older I took child development classes in high school, this continued my interest in child care and development. In my spare time, I like to sing and play piano. I study music and sing classical & opera. I also love to enjoy nature and swim!
