April took care of my 93 yr old dad, who had dementia, for 4 months in 2019, until he died. Since I live 3 hrs away, I hired her to live in my dad's home 5 days a week, so that he could stay in his own home, which he was able to do until his passing a year ago. My dad, even before dementia took over, was not an easy person to live with, and the dementia and other medical issues didn't help any. I had dreaded his reaction to a stranger coming to live with him 24/7. But he took to April immediately and they got along great. April was always patient and positive, and she could always put my dad into a better mood. I certainly recommend April B for any task with an elderly family member. My dad was a big, stubborn guy, and she was his angel, and mine as well.
