About Ann

I'd describe myself as outgoing, organized, and dependable. I like working with kids and getting to know their individual personalities. I taught elementary age children and am now retired. My professional and personal life experiences make me comfortable and confident with children of all ages. I'm looking for a job that gives me a chance to meet and interact with people. In babysitting I can help out a family while supplementing my income. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I babysat during middle school, high school, and college. When I was young, I was even one of Santa's elves and the Easter bunny at the mall. As an adult I often babysat my nieces and nephews. For over 30 years I have enjoyed my daily interactions in the classroom with elementary age children. I also raised two daughters. In my spare time, I like to garden, walk, and spend time with my pets. One thing you should know about me is you can count on me to be trustworthy and caring.
