About Ann

I am the former Recreation Coordinator for the City of Deerfield Beach's Senior Center and Alzheimer's Day Center. I have worked in Assisted Living communities in MA and FL. I'd describe my personality as friendly, kind and patient I like caring for seniors because it has been my life's work since graduating from college. I'm looking for a part time position that gives me an opportunity to assist a senior in living independently with dignity I started caring for seniors when I was in High School. In my spare time, I like to sing. I enjoy going to concerts and am an avid sports fan (football and baseball) One thing you should know about me is that I am caring, honest and treat others as I would want to be treated. My skills include being able to engage seniors in conversation and then listen, encourage them to do as much for themselves as they can while assisting, not taking over, and being able to calm those with dementia and redirect them to something more positive
