I'm a seasoned professional, who recently took early retirement. I'm seeking employment because I enjoy working and would like to return to the type of work permitting direct care once again. I've worked extensively with children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Finally, for a number of years I was one of DFS's primary trainers for their foster parents. I am very good with children, and neighborhood kids seem to gravitate to my yard when I'm outside. I am extremely calm during a crisis (worked in hospitals and clinics for many years), level headed, observant and an excellent teacher and decision maker.
