About Annika

I'd describe my personality as friendly, passionate and respectful. I like working with kids because children always teach me something new everyday. I'm looking for a job that I can get to know not only the children but the parents as well. I never wanted to just be just a nanny or caregiver, I wanted to be a friend. I started working with kids when I was very young. Growing up my brother and I lived in an unstable home, I knew at a young age he needed a parent figure. So that is what I became. As I got older it just stuck with me, I babysat as much as I could until I was old enough to get a job at a daycare. I am now a homeowner. One thing you should know about me is I have a big heart. I connect very easily, and I build a great bond with people. I worked at a nursing home a couple years ago and got very attached to some of the residents. I believe that giving my love and attention to others older and younger is my calling.
