I have grown up caring for children. I have babysat since I was 11 years old. As I grew older, I started having families regularly call me to babysit for them because their children preferred me. I also have worked as a teachers assistant for five years. I taught religious education from the ages of 15-17. I've taught preschool, kindergarten, first, second, and forth grade at a variety of schools. I've been a lifeguard for the past two years, so I know emergency care. I am a sociology major at Illinois State University. I love working with children with disabilities. I feel I have a real connection with them.
