Also sorted their medications for daily consumption, kept journals on their progress for their Dr visits, given insulin injections. Mostly Hands on care but some Standby Assistance. I am thorough and diligent, kind and compassionate. I love caring for the needs of others.

Anna has been with us for many years, but recently she has been my go-to person when I am out of town. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and has special needs. She jumps right in and makes sure all his needs are met, making dinner, ensuring his meds are well-managed, and stays beyond the time agreed-to to ensure he makes it safely to bed. I had the opportunity to have dinner with him and Anna when I returned from my trip so I witnessed first-hand that she is a loving, vigilant caretaker. What I appreciated much about here is that she makes sure she gives my husband his "agency" so that he still can do things he is capable of rather than taking over all responsibility. And maybe they best thing is that she seeks out mutual interests and will watch TV with him or discuss recent movies, etc. A great companion beyond being someone who simply takes care.
