Hi my name is Angie. I have 35 years of experience in childcare . With 30 years in a center and the last 5 1/2 years as a professional Nanny. I have a current background check , First Aid/CPR certification and CDA ( Child Development Associates) and up to date on all vaccines including Tdap. I started working in childcare 1989 . After being a stay at home Mom was no longer a financial choice . I still wanted to be involved with my boys early education so childcare was the obvious choice. In 2020 Covid was a concern so I began a new career as a Nanny . I have worked with four families thus far and they all have been unique and wonderful in their own way. It's so rewarding to watch their children grow and reach milestones. I am passionate about furthering my time in the Nanny field so I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experience. Angie has been an absolutely superlative nanny! For nearly two years, she took daily care of our toddler (from the age of roughly nine months to over two years old) and our nephew of almost the exact same age. She was fantastic with the kids, and often came prepared with crafts, activities, and more for the children to do. She managed their mealtimes and naptimes during the day, and when the time came, she took the initiative to start potty training. The kids love her and were very comfortable around her, and she was very comfortable working out of a big home where there was always a lot going on. She was kind, thoughtful, professional, and very easy to work with. Although she worked full-time for us, she was also flexible on scheduling, and even babysat at times when we needed it and she was available. In short, we would recommend Angie to ANYONE looking for a full-time nanny. We are so glad that we found her, and she has totally exceeded our expectations. The only reason we are not working with her further is that it is time for the kids to start day care!
