My current nanny position ends 9/30. I am looking for a new full time (40 hours) job that starts 10/1. I am looking for a long term position (at least 1 year). I have 5 years experience working with children. I love working with infants and helping them grow, learn, and reach all their milestones. When I work for a family, 100% of my time is spent working with the child/children. I am on the floor with them! I love being creative and bringing in enriching activities, in addition to bringing them out into community (like Children's Museum, zoos, etc.). I don't believe in screen time, but I will utilize music on my phone to help engage the child/children. Angie worked with us as a full time nanny in 2022. Angie has been an amazing caregiver for our 18-month-old daughter. We were very impressed at how quickly she was able to ramp up and understand her job responsibilities. There was an instant connection between Angie and our daughter which made it a very easy transition for us as parents. Angie aligned with our gentle care-giving style by remaining calm during challenging situations. She did a great job validating our child's feelings, offering options, and understanding her needs. What sets Angie apart from other nannies is how hands-on she is. They read lots of books, do crafts, dance, and sing with no or minimal TV exposure. Angie is also very punctual and has great communication. Our daughter has learned so much from Angie, including some sign language, manners, and instilling good habits from day one. Angie has been wonderful to work with, and if it wasn't for us moving we would love to continue to have her be a part of our family.
