About Angelina

Hello parents! I am currently a senior in UIC's human development and learning program. My program is heavily research-based across the lifespan, however, my focus population is adolescents. I plan to continue into a graduate program in the fall, so a daytime schedule is ideal. I chose to study educational psychology because I believe learning can only happen when a child's mental well-being is cared for. I employ a child-centered approach similar to Montessori that encourages independence and choice. Regarding discipline, I am a big advocate for redirection and talking things through so that the child understands why certain behaviors are not safe or kind. I am looking for a kind and empathetic family to work with. I look forward to connecting!
