About Andrea

After getting my degree in nursing, I stayed home with my four children for 20 years and spent 14 of those years homeschooling them, teaching all subjects through 8th grade. I absolutely loved teaching them at home, but when the time came to send them to school, I became a certified teacher in Texas and taught special education in a Prosper elementary school for 4 years. I have experience with dyslexic students, students with learning differences, and also with gifted students because of my personal children. I have certifications in the following: Core Subjects K-6, English 4-8, ESL, and Special Education as well as CPR/ First Aid. I would love to tutor or teach privately in my home or yours!
