About Ana

I'd describe my personality as creative, playful warm, and reliable. I like working with kids because they challenge you to suspend your belief in the things you know to make space for their own learning. I'm best suited for childcare roles where adventure and creativity is encouraged, especially in nature. I'm fluent in Spanish and always look for ways to incorporate language learning if desired. I'm an experienced lifeguard and very confident caring for children in and around water. I started working with kids 20 years ago and I volunteer regularly with Kids on the Ball, an organization that teaches life lessons through the sport of tennis. I'm also enrolled in the TAP teaching program at Champlain College and plan to teach Spanish and Social Studies. In my spare time, I like to play tennis, swim, paint, and learn.
