About Ana

I am currently pursuing my teaching degree for Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in a variety of classrooms. I currently provide direct therapy for learners diagnosed with autism. I have two boys of my own and had the wonderful opportunity of staying at home with my boys in those impressionable preschool years. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, professional, and responsible. I like working with kids because the world is their oyster, and they deserve to shine. I started working with kids when I graduated high school (2002). In my spare time, I like to read, golf with my family, hang out with my dogs and garden. My skills include encouraging literacy and numeracy skills through play, time management, and promoting communication, especially in younger learners.
