About Ana

I'm Ana, a 30-year-old who has a passion for teaching. I'm bilingual, I speak, English and Spanish fluently. I have experience tutoring at the elementary and middle school grade level, and love finding new ways to make learning fun and anything but boring! I've taught students with learning disabilities/conditions such as; dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, autism, Tourette's syndrome, and OCD. I've completed/passed the GKT (General Knowledge Test) math subtest, basic elementary math assessment test for K-6. GKT English language skills subtest, Reading subtest, and Essay subtest. Volunteered as a teacher's aide, proofreading and correcting classes' tests, journal entries, and essays. I'm well-versed in teaching vocabulary and spelling study groups, as well as administering practice spelling tests to assess student's strengths/weaknesses and progress.
