About Amy

Hi! My name is Amy. I had been a caregiver/companion for a friend's elderly mother with dementia off and on for over 8 years until she passed, and have experience with complicated medication schedules. I have also cared for an 89-year-old women with dementia who has since gone into a nursing home in the beginning of September 2019 (I was with her for 10 months). I administered medication, prepared meals, helped with bathing and dressing, and provided companionship. Most recently I've spent a little over a year (November 2019 to present) with a family providing child care. I have a clean background check with the state due to the nature of this job. Whether I am caring for someone young or older, I know that my calling in life is to care for others. I have references upon request, a clean background check and a clean driver's license.
