About Amy

I am an energetic former homeschool mom of 3 amazing grown children. I've helped my blind mother w/daily tasks and shopping all my life. I volunteered at a rescue mission and a children's literacy program in Coachella, CA. I used to have a housekeeping business., and last job was church construction cleanup in Rancho Mirage, CA. I have 35 yrs+ exp. with children though much was volunteer. I enjoy meeting children in their world, rocking and singing to babies & explaining everything as we do things to satisfy curious growing minds. I love to see kids absorb good teaching but also value the importance of trial and error for cognitive development. It's important to listen to how they perceive the world and help them express themselves constructively with frustrations and misunderstandings.
