About Amy

I am a Labor and Delivery nurse of 12+ years in the Bay Area looking for a change of pace and new job opportunities. I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) so I am highly qualified to care for children of any age. I also have experience with kids who have special needs. I worked at Exceptional Needs Network summer camp providing 1:1 (One-on-one care) day and night as a nurse counselor for the same child who has Type 1 Diabetes, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Autism, so I am well trained to work with children on the Spectrum. My skills include creativity, organization, and I'm fun! I love coming up with arts and craft projects for the kids, doing puzzles and reading, finding fun and free outings such as going to the park, playing at the beach, going to museums, cooking and baking at home, while helping kids to clean up after themselves through active play and music.
