About Amy

I'd describe my personality as fun, outgoing, and empathetic. I like working with kids because I am a child at heart and find that working with kids gives such a positive energy and sense of accomplishment that you are helping shape them into good humans. I started working with kids when I was 11 years old. I babysat, worked at summer camp, taught sports, tumbling, and dance, and have siblings that are 10 and 12 years younger than me. I also completed 3 years of college in Special Education, Elementary Education and Music. In my spare time, I like to go to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, the beach, and the pool. One thing you should know about me is I am very respectful of individual families' rules and am mindful to what kids see, hear, and do. I know very basic ASL signs including numbers and letters. My skills include imaginative play, helping with homework/learning at home, and working with kids with ADHD and autism. I am very attuned to peoples sensory needs.
