About Amy

I started in High School pet-sitting for pay, watching a family friend's dogs while they would go on vacation for a week and eventually I extended my services to others who needed their elderly or animals who needed special attention and care. I've been around every breed of dog you could think of and have owned Boxers, Rottweilers, German Shepherd-mixes, Beagles and I currently have a Jack Russell who is my baby. I am not afraid of the animals who have the stereotype of being "aggressive" such as pit bulls or rottweilers. Cats on the other hand, I just have the bad habit of taking strays home and begging my mom to let me keep it. Otherwise, I only have experience owning and caring for cats but I know what it is like to be an owner and care about my animals. The only animals I will not care for are reptiles (except for turtles) and birds. I have a fear of lizards, birds and snakes that I just can't seem to shake off. Currently, I have two horses, a cow (Yes, he is a pet), and a Jack Russel. My family has boarded horses, so I have thorough experience in equine care.
