About Amirah

Hey, I am Amira I am the oldest of four siblings so I guess you can say I have always been a caregiver. At the age of 16 I started officially watching my siblings and other children in my neighborhood. I would describe my personality as easy going and patient. I have my bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in child advocacy. I believe that the early years of children's development is important to nurture. I have experience working with infants & toddlers and I also worked for an after school program, working with 1st graders (7-8). I taught my own class assisting with homework, playtime, and snack handling. I also mentored young girls between the age of 9-13, helping them transition between elementary and middle. I look forward to assisting with children and helping around with homework, light house work, and meal preparations.
