About Amenda

We interviewed Amenda to care for my 89 yr old aunt who has early stage dementia. My aunt lives alone, 2 hours away from me, and we needed to hire part time help as she has been forgetting to take her medications and eating regularly. Amenda expressed great interest in the duties, hours & pay as they were discussed with her during the interview, and told us she could start right away. After our interviews, we called Amenda but she didn't answer. We tried to get a hold of her via text as well and left her several voicemails after that, but didn't hear back from her until 7 hours after. She claimed she fell asleep and didn't hear phone. There was another time after that we tried to contact her and she responded that she was at a doctor's appointment and she will call right after, and we didn't hear back from her at all. Needless to say, we didn't hire her. Do not waste your time with Amenda. She is NOT dependable, and she does not value people's time. Save yourself the trouble.
