About Amelia

Hi everyone! I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years and have a passion for working with the senior population. Most recently, I was employed as a Memory Care Activities Coordinator at a long term care facility. This job made me fall in love with this population and I made the decision to devote my career to caring for them. I received my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Gerontology and Aging Services. I am currently working on my Masters in Healthcare Administration. I have experience working with seniors of a variety of care needs, but take a special liking to those with memory problems. I believe it takes a very special personality to care for this population, and that is where my passion is. I consider myself to be extremely empathetic and compassionate and strive to show this in every encounter with others. Ideally I am looking for a role that will allow me to provide companionship and ADL assistance.
