About Amber

I would describe myself as nurturing, patient, trustworthy, dedicated, organized, and creative. I love helping children learn and grow. Children truly make my heart smile. I'm looking for a position that allows me to help a family with their needs, help their child/children grow, and still leaves time for my own family. I started working with kids at 13 years old. I have experience with children from newborn to high school age. I enjoy cooking, fishing, camping, crafting, and spending time with family. My husband is a Shriner, so we also spend a good deal of time volunteering and raising money for our hospitals. My skills include quick and efficient diaper changes, coordinating crafts and activities, teaching life skills through fun games, cooking, cleaning (dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.), and making sure the young ones stay safe.
