About Amber

Since I was a kid I've always wanted to help others. When I turned 16 I decided to take a job at Oak Hills Living center working as a CNA in the Dementia Unit. I worked there for about a year, and learned many valuable lessons. After I graduated in 2022, I went to college for a semester as I thought I wanted to become a nurse. Moving to Mankato and attending MSU I also got a job at the hospital in the ICU working as a PCA. Although I loved taking care of people I decided that nursing was not for me and after I finished my first semester I left MSU and moved back home to New Ulm to try and figure out what I wanted to do. I currently have a paraprofessional job at St. James High/Middle School, but the year is coming to an end. I've finally decided that I want to attend MSU again Fall 2024 and I am confident in my major this time. Before the school year starts I would like to work to earn some money and I would like to do so by helping others!
