About Amber

Hi! I'm Amber, I'm 23 years old and I have 5 years of paid childcare experience. For two of those years I was a full time nanny for a family with two boys. The other three have been spent in childcare centers as a lead teacher of toddlers and infants. A little more about my background; I have been caring for children since I was 15 starting off with babysitting and making my way up to being a nanny. My brother is special needs and wheelchair bound, I've been helping with his care my whole life which is where I believe my love for caring for others stemmed from! I'm also a mother to a 6-month-old baby girl, so I understand the challenges that come with being a parent and the need to have someone caring for them that will love them as much as you. I have taken multiple DSS childcare training classes from development to safe sleep. I'm experienced in all the things that come with caring for babies and toddlers. I am also CPR certified and have SIDS training.
