I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, creative. I like working with animals because they remind us to have compassion, and that life is simple. I'm looking for a job that provides extra income in addition to my M-F full-time job. About 11 years ago my friends started paying me to pet-sit for them while they went out of town or were too busy during certain times in their lives. In my spare time, I like to read (actual books!). One thing you should know about me is I am not nosy and I don't care what your house looks like. I take the lead from you on preferred modes of communication and how often. My skills include: 1) basic knowledge of pet behavior + active listening to the pet owners to provide accurate care 2) reliability / dependability 3) comfortable with just being with animals, enjoy being around animals and caring for them 4) experience feeding, basic grooming (dog bath, clipping claws of cats if desired by owner, fur maintenance), going for walks/exercise
