About Amaya

I love taking care of kids. I was in early childhood development in high school all four years. I raised my brother while my mom worked 3rd shift nearly everyday. I've currently been watching a 2 mo old since she was 2 weeks. I've had all ages in my care throughout the last 10+ years. Including children on the spectrum. I love what I do :) My personality is bubbly, energetic, and passionate I was an only child for the first 11 years of my life. I helped watch the neighbor's kids when I was 7. They were twins. I grew up loving it. I loved being around children and watching them grow. Throughout high school I wanted to be a teacher so I could be part of the change, to help kids, not just push them along. I have always wanted to be a positive role model considering I didn't have the best. When I'm not working, I LOVE to read, I play Sims. I enjoy learning new things whether it's cooking new foods or learning how to speak a new language.
