Hi! I'm Amar and I have had plenty experience with children and adolescents typically developing or otherwise. I began as a day care teacher at the Goddard School, then did a 375 hour internship at Brain Balance, a neurological rehab center for children and adolescents. I am currently a teaching assistant at Cedar Chapel Special School where I work with people aged 3-21 who have moderate to severe motor, sensory, and cognitive impairments. I am also a bus aide for the school. I also created an Occupational Therapy program for the Friendship Circle of NJ where I based my teaching in sensory stimulation, movement therapy, and social-promoting games all while having fun!
