About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda Zinman. I am 22 going to University of Vermont for Elementary Education major and special education minor. I have been babysitting since I was around 12 and working in schools since I was 13. I love working with kids and have experience with both pets (having many of my own and having done an internship at a zoo) and elderly, and I have often been told I have a way with kids that comes naturally to me. At the moment I'm looking for a regular summer job. I like working with kids because I love seeing them grow and the way their face lights up when they are happy. They are incredible!! One thing you should know about me is I'm super easy going! Happy to help in any way! My skills include ability to handle multiple situations at once. Working in a classroom regularly has prepared me to meet multiple needs. I also am able to be compassionate with the children to help them with their needs and finally I am able to make activities like learning and chores fun!
