About Amanda

Hi my name is Amanda. I am married with a 1-year-old daughter. I am a Christ follower who participates at a local church and within our community. I have worked with children in various ways since I was a teenager and had began my college journey working towards a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I worked in the education field as a substitute teacher for all grades, a teaching assistant at a day program for children with emotional and behavioral issues, as well as camps and babysitting. Life brought me in a different direction and instead I graduated with a Bachelors degree in History and worked in the business field for the past 10 years. Since having a daughter I traded in the professional life for motherhood. I am currently looking for part time work helping other parents take care of their children, whether it is watching them, errands, or companionship for elderly.
