About Amanda

Hi my name is Amanda. I am married with a 1-year-old daughter. I am a Christ follower who participates at a local church and within my community. I have worked with children since I was a teenager. I began college working towards a degree in Elementary-Special Education. I worked in the education field as a substitute teacher for all grades, a teaching assistant for children with emotional-behavioral issues, as well as camps and babysitting. Life brought me in a different direction and instead I graduated with a Bachelors degree in History and worked in the business field the past 10 years. Since having a daughter I traded in the professional life for motherhood. I am looking for part time work helping other parents take care of their children, whether it is watching them, bringing them to/from school/sports, or companionship for elderly.
