About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda I have over 20+ years experience in a professional childcare setting, Nonprofit Preschool program serving underserved families, as well as babysitting :) I have current infant/Child CPR certifications, food handlers permit, along with trainings and hands on experience with challenging behaviors. I love to work with all age groups but specialize in ages 2. 5-5 years. I believe that every child is unique and not all approaches are one size fits all. They are little people to be met on their level and it's my job to help them feel confident in themselves and help them grow into who they are right now in this moment. I am an outspoken advocate for social and emotional growth in little people. Teaching children to create boundaries and assert themselves in an age appropriate way is a gateway to success not only at home but also eventually in the classroom.
