About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda and I've been a Registered nurse for about 2 years. I've worked with a variety of patients in a hospital setting; mostly older patients in cardiac telemetry/medical-surgical areas. As an RN I not only take care of the harder tasks that require more education (such as giving medications/assessments/etc), but I also take the time to focus on the small stuff that everybody needs help with such as ADLs (bathing, eating, getting dressed, going to the bathroom). Every person deserves to be treated with respect and to keep their dignity throughout those tasks, which is what I always try to accomplish. Even though my hospital experience was focused primarily on older populations, I love infants as well! I am certified in BLS and AED use by the American Heart Association for both adults and newborns. If you ever need any help with your family members or adorable babies medications/ADL's, I'm you're girl!
